Sometimes Ferris wheels need to change location, get broken down, or the client wishes to put a larger wheel in place. This is where we step in to not just break the Ferris wheel down, but also ensure that it remain in excellent shape, receives an upgrade or update.
Dutch Wheels has taken previously sold Ferris wheels, upgraded and refurbish them. A great example is the former Ferris wheels from Navy Pier, Chicago, USA. Navy Pier bought/purchased a lager Ferris wheel (a 60 meter WS60 wheel) with closed and climatized gondolas. The existing Ferris wheel was taken down and it was fully inspected, refurbished, upgraded and moved to Branson, Missouri, USA.
SkyView de Pier in Scheveningen is also a great example of a Ferris wheel that has been refurbished and installed by Dutch Wheels. This project highlights how existing wheels can be successfully upgraded and relocated into a vibrant destination.
