La Grande Roue de Montréal in Canada opened for public September 2017.
2017 is the year of the celebrations around 375 year Montreal, 150 year Canada and 50 year since the world exhibition. It is part of the “Old Port of Montreal” leisure area in downtown Montreal.
The Old Port is a popular destination, known for its history and beautiful architecture. The wheel site itself incorporates a restaurant and several terraces. This iconic attraction is open 365 days a year.
The wheel is standing at 60 meters tall. You can step into one of the 42 luxurious gondolas, each equipped with climate-controlle and anti-UV tempered glass panels, ensuring you of a breathtaking 360-degree views of Montreal. For an extra touch of luxury, there is a VIP gondola that features a glass floor, providing a truly immersive experience like no other.
